After retiring he devoted his time to becoming a Watercolor Artist, painting nearly every day both in his studio and on location. He attended art classes at South Florida Community College, Avon Park, FL with art professor, Cathy Futral. He has also taken workshops from some of America’s most outstanding watercolor artists, such as Tom Lynch, Steve Rogers, Ralph Taylor, George Arnell and Mark Menendez.
Sharing his vision of the beauty of nature through his paintings, using mood as the theme, is his reason for painting.
He belongs to the following Art Associations: Ridge Plein Aire Painters, Frostproof FL, Macon County Art Association, Franklin NC, and the Art league of Highlands NC.
